Modern Requirements 4TFS is a Requirements Lifecycle Management platform that enables users to elicit, analyze, validate, document, review and manage requirements more efficiently, accurately and effectively.
Nonfunctional (NFRs) requirements are difficult to elicit for many reasons. Due to the complexity involved in defining NFRs, Modern Requirements 4TFS includes 14 specifications for Nonfunctional Requirement Elicitation which catalogue over 2000 questions based on The Quest for Software Requirements by Roxanne Miller. A recent upgrade added 5 additional specifications defined by Roxanne Miller, along with over 500 suggested elicitation questions corresponding to the updated specification categories.
Modern Requirements 4TFS has leveraged this remarkable effort by Roxanne and has incorporated its Requirements Framework structure and questions. Analysts who are eliciting NFRs can now use Modern Requirements 4TFS to help remind them of the types of questions they should be considering. The answers to these questions help define the NFRs. The tool maintains the links between the questions and the NFRs. It also facilitates the reuse of these resulting NFRs across the enterprise in any new project.
